We're trying to think of what to do for wedding favors. I found this on Marthat Stewarts site. It's cute, but I have to find the muffin papers, but these are more tin like. I'm going to look at Micheals craft store today and see if this is do-able. What so you think?

Also, I'm having a little trouble finding the old fashioned candies like in the picture.

Those are cute. Do you have any sort of cake decorating store? They may have the tins, it Michael's doesn't. Hmmmm, have you checked candy stores. I have a neighbor that used to own a candy shop - her son owns it now -- maybe a place like that - a locally owned shop? I could ask her if she has any suggestions where to look????

Vicki those are so cute!! Micheals should have most of what you need. The one here has a huge section for candy making and such. Good luck. I want to see the finished product!

Thanks, I really need opinions, I'll have to figure out how to do the monogramed tags attached, I think Micheals will be a good place to start.

Actually, I was checking out Micheals web site and they do have a page "print your own favor tags" The paper is what they sell. You buy the paper, it says 150 lb white tag stock paper that's perforated and it comes 40 in a packet.

Oh those are so cute!!!! I love them. Yes, I have been to Micheal's quite a bit myself for wedding things. If not Michael's, then if you have an A. C. Moore or a Hobby Lobby.

Do you have software that can do a monogram like that?

Thanks, hoping you would let me know what you thought. I know you're going through the same thing and just don't know what's cute and what's not. No, haven't heard of those around here.

Jan, not sure about the software, I'm not so good at all that stuff, but I know someone who could help me.

Well, I do have some software that will do lettering/monograms. Now, I think I could do it and make it a jpeg and email it to you, if you need help. Just let me know

Do you have time to do those personalized M&M's? That would be nifty.

Those are very cute. Are you going to make little bags of rice to throw too or will you have to use birdseed?

I know the question wasn't for me but we can't throw rice or birdseed all over the club so we are using bubbles. I wouldn't want to throw rice anyway... it's bad for the little birdies!

Oh good, glad you like. The colors are vintage cream colors with a touch of burgandy. The boat has so much burgandy going on, the carpet design and the drapes that not much other color is needed. She asked her bridesmaids to go out and get tea length black dresses in any style that looks good on them. No cleavage, no sleeves. The tux are also black. So no other real colors going on except in the flowers.
