around the house with your nose touching the back of her leg.  Bob was helping me straighten up and clean the house this weekend and he matched me step for step.  He would walk so close behind me that he often touched the back of my calf with his cold nose.

I plan on keeping him.  I couldn't live without him.  He was so tired last night and this morning from following me around all weekend and playing with Casper at my mom's yesterday.  He kept barking at my sister at my mom's yesterday.  I told him to stop, that she was a friend, but I think he sensed her true nature.

Well, his mommy loves him too.  My family thinks I am insane over how much I love him...and then I catch one of the menfolk petting him and telling him how good he is.

Orvis is always under our feet too....he has been stepped on or kicked so many times that now if you even move your leg close to him when he is under your feet he screams...hasn't learned not to get under your feet just that it hurts when you get stepped on!!!!  it is cute that they love you so much!

That's so sweet. Daphne does the same thing.  If I am cleaning, she will follow me around until I am done.  Sometimes I am doing laundry and she sits in front of the washing machine and just stares at me with these sad eyes.  She will be so tired and just keeping following me until I finally sit down.

Russ has been doing the wet nose to the back of the knee thing lately. I think he' trying to scam extra treats.

Maybe you could teach Bob to fold laundry

Bob's laundry job is to make sure each piece of clothing has some of his hair on it, especially the dark items.

I bet Bob is a real gold star employee in this regard.

I think of that cold wet nose on the back of the leg as 'herding' Shiloh does it to me constantly. My favorite is first thing in the morning, just after she's come in from outside. I swear I think she chills it extra for me! They really do shadow you though. I am always on the go and it seems she matches me step for step.

Yeah, there is no way to sneak away from Bob. It's those rattie ears and their super hearing ability!

Illyria does that too. Sometimes she'll lick the back of my legs as well as stick her cold nose on them. Especially right after I get home from work. It's too cute!! (Also, she wiggles her tail so hard that her entire butt moves LOL)

I wish I'd gotten Shiloh before they docked her tail. I know it's so early on that they likely can't remember having it done but it still makes me feel bad. When she wags it's from about the ribs down...

Bama will do that, too. He's always been a momma's boy, but since I've been out of school, he's even more so. You'd think that after spending all day with me, he'd want to spend time with John, but he still sticks pretty close to my side.

Toby does thiis all the time. He follows me to the bathroom and everywhere with his cold wet nose in the back of my knee. My husband is a little upset because he follows momma everywhere but he is a momma's boy and is always soooo cute.

Yeah, I've only had my little Panini for two weeks, and she sits in the kitchen with me while I cook dinner. Most of the time, I'll put her little dog pillow in there so she can sleep while I'm busy. And of course, she's on my heels where ever else I go.

Zipper actually paws the back of our ankles & calves when we walk around. Not obnoxious with it. Button just follows. They play so much all day long and then snooze off the exhaustion that they follow us around a lot less than they used to.

Casey is quite the little helper around the house He helps me fold the clothes fresh out of the dryer(by digging a hole to the center of the pile to sleep). Or he fallows Tom out to the garden (to make sure he gets a fair share of whatever veggies have grown overnight). And he fallows anybody to the kitchen. He's not allowed in the kitchen, however he does have a designated doggie spot on the carpet.

You have two hands, you might as well have two ratties....right?

Sadie always followed me everywhere. When I would go into the kitchen to make dinner, she would pace back and forth until I would go into the living room and get a blanket for her to lay on. She rarely slept in there, but generally just lay down and watch. She never followed me to the washer and dryer because she was scared of the basement steps for some reason.

Buster inserts himself between me and the cabinets when I'm working in the kitchen.  I think he's reminding me that he's there, just incase I feel like dropping some food.
