This has been a terrible evening here. I could hardly eat my dinner. I had to eat with tears in my eyes watching the helicopters hovering over the bridge with what they say could be up to 100 cars involved. I called my children just to tell them I love them even though they don't usually drive this route, I wanted to hear their voices. Please say a prayer for the families who have loved ones injured or worse. |

I saw this on the news last night and this morning, also. How horrible. Sure made me think about all the people involved and their families. So sad. That is totally my worst nightmare when I have to drive across a long bridge. I have sort of a phobia about long bridges. |

It is a tragedy. One of my co-workers is from Minnesota and his family is all still there, he immediately called them, they are all fine thank goodness. Only his sister actually lives in Minneapolis. I detest all bridges, and being from California, well.... ever since Loma Prieta I am absolutely phobic about them. Even in Maine, where earthquakes are extremely rare... So sad for these people. |

| This is so tragic. My riding buddy is from Minnesota and her sister takes this bridge to and from work, but is on vacation this week. I am so sorry for all in the area. |
