Every time there's a commercial on TV with someone singing opera, Jackson perks up and listens. It's even funnier when he's sleepy. He perks up a little, keeps his eyes opens but relaxes and then goes to sleep. I played Sarah Brightman for him from the LiveEarth performances, he couldn't stop listening and watching her. It's the cutest thing!

Button & Zipper react that way to all singing, on TV or "live". But they're not sophisticated to make a distinction with opera. That's really interesting. Maybe it's the high pitches of female operatic voices? Does he react to the deep, low tones of the male operatic voice the same way? OK all you college students. Here's a topic for a research project that might just be enjoyable (if you're taking an appropriate class for the research, LOL).
