I just started this book and it's good!  The main character is a female hostage negotiator.  She's a single mom of a 7 year old daughter and they all live with her mother, who is an agoraphobic.  The male love interest won over $100 million in the lottery several years ago.  It takes place in Savannah, I guess Georgia.  Is there a Savannah in one of the Carolinas too?

I love Nora Roberts - definitely one of my all time favorite authors, and I want to read this bad, but I'm trying not to buy the hardcover version.

Sounds like a good book. My mom reads all the Nora Roberts books then passes them on to me. I'll have to ask her about this one.

I had to make myself put it down last night and go to bed. I'm going to read it while eating lunch.

I finished it last night. A good read, suspenseful until the end. Now I'm waiting on the latest Linda Howard book.
