I hope she finds a home. These people clearly didn't think much before getting a rattie-min pin puppy for a toddler and a preschooler's pet! She isn't even doing anything wrong, just eating human food and puking. Poor little girl. I do hope that $500 the poster is talking about as what they have into her doesn't deter people from asking about her. Vet expenses, food, etc. are just the usual money we all put into an animal when we take on it's care - you're not going to get that back when you want to find another home for the dog.

She sounds like a wack job! She did know about the allergies and went ahead and got a dog. My 3 sit around the 2 year old who shares his dinner with them!

I totally agree that she is a nut job.. I was just thinking that maybe some one who comes here looking for info in alaska... and may be interested in rescuing this girl before she gets thrown away.... if I could take her I would in a heartbeat but I think my husband will leave me if I bring another one home!!!! I also had a difficult time understanding why she would go ahead and get a dog even tho the kid is allergic... that makes NO sense... I understand I did not know I was a llergic... but that.... stupid.... anyway... she is a cute doggie... maybe some one here will take her in!

And as for the eating human food and puking DUH chick dont let your kids feed the puppy.... and if you say its the dogs fault I will smack y ou... your not the leader of the house if you cant control your OWN kids...... and keep them from feeding the dog food..... how would you think that you would be able to be a pack leader to a dog who is ultra sensitive to who is the boss? that dog will end up taking the leader spot and hurting some one maybe even the kiddies who are feeding her... then she will get put down for your laziness.....

(ARGH sorry again I was on the soapbox!!!!)

I sure hope that pup finds a good home.  Bokilink, you speak from the heart.  I get sick reading and hearing "We got our child a puppy", blah, blah...  And the parents drop the ball with the responsabilities and research of owning a dog.  Getting a family pet, especially a dog is a household chore that some families shouldn't rush into.   Parents like these should be limited to either Teddy Ruxpin OR Rupert, the Musical Bear for their kids... One or the other, if they can find them.

Best regards,

Michael
