I'm beginning to really hate dating sites due to all the scammers on them.Each time it's the same story about how they were born here in the U.S and then either their parents had to move to Africa or they married someone that had to travel to Africa and then their spouce either died or got kidnapped and they need money to get back to the U.S.

But i have been able to detect the scams before i start talking to them.easiest way is to 1)look at their pic.if they look like a model,avoid them!.2)look at the way they spell.if every word is spelled wrong and there is words missing in their sentence,it's a scam.3)put the first 2 togther and you have a scammer!.

Do these people seriously think we are that dumb??? .I seriously want to find these people and get SLAP HAPPY!

Unfortunately, scammers run rampant, just about everywhere you look. I have even come across puppy scammers (they make you pay for shipping, but there's no dog to deliver).

What sites are you using? Our good friend was using eHarmony and just when he was about to throw in the towel, he met someone and they're getting married!!

Ironically, this girl is from the area of PA we just moved from AND she's good friends with the sister of other good friends. Now, what are the chances, eh?

I would be lost with regards to having any idea as to what to do about anything, let alone finding someone else!

2 years ago or so,i received 2 checks in the mail for $4,500.00 each and i took them to the bank and immediately asked them "are these real?",the one that looked at them said "they look legit but i can have our fraud expert look and i'll let you know".well i was seeing a really nice computer in my eyes if they were but they called me and said i needed to go back to the bank.so i went back and they said they came from a bank in,you guessed it,AFRICA!!!.i guess what these scammers had plan to do was wait for it to be cashed or deposited and then they would track the numbers to find out my banking info.

the bank asked me "can we keep them to help train new hires on what to look out for?" i said "go ahead because it's not like i have any use for them"
