They are not sure if he has a clot in his portal vein yet. High lactic acid can be from not moving your muscles also. He does look a little yellow to me today. I just don't know what to do anymore. I just pray and pray and pray, and pray, and rub his feet, and talk to him , and pray and pray....suction his mouth, and pray....He is more awake today. The dr said they may have to put a trachea in, in place of the breathing tube. I do not want them to put another hole in him! I want him to be off the tube, and on the bi-pap...no more holes! Can you tell how frustrated I am?

Donna, I've missed any updates this weekend so I'm a little lost about what is going on...  Yes, you do sound frustrated but with every reason to be.   I don't know how you are doing this.  Josh has been through so much.  wow.  You both are in my prayers daily.  To say "hang in there" sounds so feeble even to me, but that's all I know to say right now.  You are doing so well, and are so strong.  I truly don't know how you are doing this.  I wish to take this away, to give you a hug or even to give you an hour to take for yourself...  take care of yourself because I know you aren't...  ((hugs))

Thank you...And thank you for not saying, "You need to be strong". If one more person says that I am going to scream! I have been as strong as I can possibly be. Josh has been moved to a bigger hospital, so he can be on continues dialysis, to remove the fluid easier, and easier for his blood pressure. I have been looking forward to them removing the breathing tube, and now they are saying they may have to put in a trach! AaRRRgH!

Oh, (sigh)  How I wish.... 

Donna, I can only imagine how hard this is. Just know that you and Josh are constantly in our prayers. He has so many people praying for him and I KNOW he will be healed. Hang in there girlfriend.

Donna, Josh has proven what a fighter he is.  And you have more than proven how strong you are.  I dont know how you are doing it,  I really dont.  I admire you for having the strength and stamina to stay there to make sure that he is being taken care of in the absolute BEST way that he can be.  God bless you---and we are still praying for Joshua, and keeping the faith that he will get better.

Donna... I haven't been around much over the weekend (my new foster pup came on Fri. night) so just now got caught up on the latest updates on Josh. I'm so sorry to hear that Josh is still having a few downs with his ups... but with all of the prayers coming his way... I have no doubt that things are going to turn around for him soon. 

I'm sure most of us can only imagine how hard this has been for you as a Mother... and I'm so happy that you now have a computer available to get online and keep us posted on the latest... or to just be able to vent if you need to. Sure wish we could all be there in person to give you some big....  {{{HUGS}}} ... and anything else to help make this even a tiny bit easier for you.  

I do not really have any new news right now, till I talk to the dr again this morning. I will let you all know. They are going to do another ultra sound on his liver.

Yes I did. I did not get any length cut off, just split ends. Also she framed my face, instead of it being bangs with all one length. It is ok. Not too drastic of a change. Just cleaned it up a little. She said I was just bored with it, so she changed it a little. I went to Great Clips...

Miss you guys too. I have been lucky to be able to get on here pretty often. Sometimes I just cannot get away, because Josh is anxious. Then sometimes someone will be on it.

Be sure to keep us posted as soon as you can about any changes, ok?  You KNOW we are with you, Donna.
