I am feeling an anxiety attack coming on. I have four and a half more hours before my interview...and I'm already dressed and everything...just waiting....and waiting...and waiting!!! I don't do good with this waiting thing!!! |

| Yes, it's just a formality. I just freak out over interviews...it's been 7 years since I've had to do one. I KNOW that I am the right person for this job and He KNOWS this too, I just have to meet his brother..I think that's the part that's freaking me out. Check out the website www.acsparts.net and that is where I'll be working. From looking at it, I am wondering if I'll get my own office?? I've NEVER had an office before!!! I'm so excited and nervous that I think I may throw up!! |

Yep, I've got my questions ready and my resume all printed out and lying on the counter with my keys so that I don't forget it! I thought I was going to sleep late this morning, to try and kill some time so I wouldn't be walking around freaking out so long....but my wonderful hubby called me at 8:10 to see if I was awake or if I was trying to sleep some this morning.....wth????? Anyway, gotta love him!

It's already cleaned...I live with a neat freak hubby, so everything is pretty much done...besides that, I have already done my nails and makeup too!! I'll be fine, just need to find a good movie on TV or something.

I know, it's just my stupid ADHD and anxiety disorder that are trying to kick in this morning. I can control them without meds most of the time, this morning I am really considering taking one of my celexa...only they make me feel sick, so I am trying not to go there!!

I need a few extra calming vibes sent to me too.....I need to go into my boss's office and tell him I am quitting and i cant seem to get my butt to leave my chair...I am about to have a panic attack and I cant even concentrate on my work.....ughhhhh...could I just slide a note under his door....that would be sooooo much easier |

Brandy: Ommmmmm, Ommmmm, Ommmmmm (calming vibes).... doesn't help, I know. I live with a couple of ADHD/OCD people and I have not figured out (after 20+ years!) how to help him with this kind of situation. Distraction works for ME, I'll read or do something to get my mind off whatever is making me anxious. If he gets too distracted with something, he'll forget to go! Try some deep breaths, let em out slow, nix the meds this am, you don't wanna feel sick, try to look at this as an opportunity to get to know them better rather than a required chore to get through, you DO want to get to know them better (and the situation) since you'll be working with them, so focus on that. You'll do great.
Angie: Calming vibes to you too. I think it is harder to quit a job than interview for one, especially if you've been there a long time and/or you like the people you work with. I did this exact thing three years ago, and I wrote out my resignation first to get my mind clear on what I wanted to say (1st that I was leaving, and 2nd to thank her for the opportunities she'd given me to learn so much). I went in my bosses office with it in hand, in case I got tongue-tied I could just refer to it, or hand it to her! I managed to do ok. We both cried a little, but she was happy for me, even though she wished I wouldn't go. You'll do fine. |

| I'm doing the whole rubbing the ears, woosahh thing from Bad Boys II !! LOL!!! I agree, I would much rather interview than turn in my resignation. It's so much harder to tell someone you are leaving, especially if you've been there for a long time and you like them. |
