So sad but you're right, that sounds more practical. And that was very sweet of him to want to recue a dog . Sara will find a good home for that lovable face and you will get a new dog when your whole family is better prepared. Glad you had a great night Shannon!!!! And yes, I can imagine  LOL.

So, he promised me another rattie after we move and we'd rescue one together!!! Yay!! 
Sara's puppy is adorable but a rescue will be a great idea once you're
settled in your dream house
