fyi - your dog does NOT have to be a jack to attend and they have VERY fun activities for your dog to participate in!!! I will be trying to attend this if possible -ratbone rescue has asked me to pick up 2 ratties in mansfield and get them vet checked and on a plane to foster home (yes hubby is VERY ticked about this one..ugh...lord help me) so i MIGHT be going to mansfield saturday morning.. they wanted me to pick them up today or tomorrow but i work till 5pm.... so we will see if the shelter will hold them. very cute dogs - check them out on petfidner under mansfield shelter... I live in Florida, but I will be in Dallas. May 8th-15th. I am picking up a toy rat terrier in Austin. Will there be anything going on there during that time? I have lot of family to visit too, in Forney, and Athens.

Oh how fun!! is the new furbaby for you?? Here is the response from the contact for SWJRT: were coming in the weekend prior you could attend the Gulf Coast Jack Russell Terrier Network trial in Navasota, Texas. See their website for more information at http://www.gcjrtn.onefireplace.com/ Hope you are able to attend, I'll be there. Our club (SWJRTN) will not have anything happening around that time frame. Yes the new fur baby is mostly for my 15 yr old son, to have a buddy, that he can have beside him. Of course most of the care will fall on me when I am home, because we have two more miniature ratties. The new baby would not be able to participate in too many activities there, but I could show him off!

Oh how cool! talley was supposed to be for my daughter (she is 6) but ended up bonding with me... however he is still wonderful with her and the herd of neighbor children that come over almost nightly to walk him and maverick :-)

Darn I have been out of pocket lately and have not been to the site in a while. I hate to see that I missed an event in the Dallas Area. Does anyone know when another event will be held???

I'm pretty sure they do this monthly....you can email them for the next event or i willl post it the next time i get an email from them.
