Illyria is going to the vet today.  She has been scratching at her ear a lot this past week.  I thought maybe something was up, but Allen kept saying, it's because her ears fold over.  Well, sometimes they are a little red where they fold when she's been sleeping on them.  Like people and bed sheet lines.  LOL

However, she's been scratching more and more frequently in the past few days and I got an appt today for her.

I just hope my bosses don't flip sh*t.  (sorry... but it's true).  I've been here by myself since last Monday and the part-time person has been coming in about 4 hours a day so that I can at least go to lunch at a decent time.  I just can see it now, they'll come back and find out that I talked with our part time person about the situation and they'll say I was 'taking advantage of the fact that they weren't here'.  I'm sorry, but you've been gone for 6 business days and my girly needs to see her doctor.  It's just gonna happen.  Not to mention the fact that I'll be doing this over my lunch hour, and hopefully not needing any more time than that.

Sorry for the book, I just needed to vent.  Thanks for reading!!

Thanks! I'm sure she will be. I'm guessing that she may just have an ear infection. Hopefully it's not allergies and something we'll have to deal with every time it gets warm out.

Well, we're both at my work now. LOL She does have some bacteria in her ears, so they gave us some meds for that. And apparently she is losing some hair around her eyes. I think it's because when she gets tired at night she rubs them. But never for very long.
I paid $83!! Just for the vet to look in her ears, swab them, and also the meds... holy cow!!

Ouch, but at least that should fix her up.

I hope so. I've never had a dog before, so this is all new territory for me. She's so worth it.

Have fun putting the meds in her ears (or is she taking pills?)!  Molly had an ear infection and it was TORTURE.  She hates medicine and getting her toe nails clipped.  Anyway, I hope your baby is doing ok.
