I am so frustrated.  My 3 month old puppy has had like 5 or 6 things of being dewormed after being born.  Like 3 weeks ago she was tested at the vet for worms and now tonight she had a worm come out of her......what do i do.   I am so grossed out by this......help please!!!

Who gave her the wormers...there are different kinds of worms so puppies should be tested by the vet (as you had done) and treated by the vet - best way to get rid of worms. When she was tested 3 weeks ago was she positive or negative? If positive, did the vet treat her?

Worms have weird life cycles where some of them you need to treat initially and then days or weeks later treat again. Could be that or maybe she was reinfested. Some worms are transmitted thru fleas so if your puppy has any fleas that could reinfest her.

Just some thoughts. If you're not happy with the vet, maybe a second opinion?

What you do is you take her to the vet... describe the worm to him/her and medication will be prescribed. Usually... one pill will do the trick. Mary Beth is correct, there are several types of worms and some are more difficult to get rid of then others.

My Max had worms about 4 times in a six month period before we finally got rid of them. His were due to fleas. Even though HE didn't have fleas, there were fleas in our yard and he would inevitably eat one and get worms from it! Since we've moved...NO WORMS!!

Thanks Brandy - I forgot to include the little detail that the dogs will eat the the flea to get the worms!
