My puppy Nina is for the most part a little angel. But lately she has been acting up. She barks when we try and discipline her, its a constant bark. We have to chase her down to get her to stop. This happens also when we are eating and she try's to get onto the coffee table since we usually eat there. When we push her off she starts barking and rounding around all crazy...I dont know what to do. I try not to get frustrated but she is not listening. HELP!

Don't chase her otherwise it turns into a game. Perhaps have a soda can filled with pennys or a squirt bottle filled with water and when she does do that and tell her "no" or "wrong". Maybe you can put her in another room while your eating? When I'm eating, I don't even look at my dogs despite their intense stares and drooling and if came right down to it, I would put them in another room. Or have your water bottle or can of pennys ready for action! Consistency is key. Hang in there :0)

P.S.  Even negative attention is attention and dogs will repeat what ever behavior works

I confined Bijou to her crate during mealtimes when I first brought her home. Now she is well behaved and doesn't beg... much.

That's my baby girl, Bijou and her little brother Banjo, they are Toy Rat Terriers.

I've heard that the soda can with pennies scares them and makes them extra sensitive to loud noises....

At the end of the game, the king and the pawn go back in the same box.
