A while back, I posted about how Pixie wouldn't go #2 until she couldn't hold it any longer.  I tried everything except changing her food because we aren't close to a place that sells decent high-quality dog food and I just didn't think that was the issue.

I was in Memphis a few weekends ago and decided to stop by Petco.  I got 2 bags of Wellness for small dogs and a few cans of Wellness wet food just in case I had a hard time getting her to eat it at first (which I did and I'm so glad I got it now).  I only mix in a tablespoon of wet with her dry, so its not like she's getting a giant amount of the wet food.  It bothers me, but if that's what I've got to do to keep her eating the dry food, I guess I'll keep doing it.

Anyway, within 2 days, there was a HUGE change in Pixie's bathroom habits.  I couldn't believe it.  Whoever said the poor dog might be constipated hit the nail on the head, even though it was the very last thing I thought it would be.  There is no more of her running around and whining.  She jumps up on the door to let me know she needs to go out, and when we go out, she sniffs around like a normal dog and then immediately does her business.

AND...the missing hair on her neck looks like its starting to come back in, too!  Bonus!!  YAY!!   Go Wellness!!

Glad to hear that Pixie's bathroom problem is better.  I hope all continues to go well for Pixie.

We'll have to outwit the fiend with our superior intelligence.

Oh what a relief!

Literally.

That's my baby girl, Bijou and her little brother Banjo, they are Toy Rat Terriers.
