that's strange...I don't think I've ever had a dog do that. I think I'd have the vet check him for a UTI, just to be safe.

Daisy actually did that once as a very little puppy while sleeping on my lap, and once at about 5 1/2 months again while sound asleep on my lap under a blanket sitting outside at night. Both times, I just figured she was too sound asleep and too comfortable - LOL. Those are the only two times though. I'd keep an eye on him for any other signs of UTI - more frequent than usual trips to potty, or going on "soft" items like the couch or a blanket, etc.

thanks for your advice, he did go on my daughters blanket today so maybe I should call a vet

I would call then and perhaps have him do a check for any physical reason this could be happening. Is this out of the blue, and was he reasonably housetrained before these couples of occurences?

this was totally out of the blue, he is three months so we have had a few accidents but he normally goes outside

Definitely call for at least a call, and probably a trip to the vet for a urine test so he can be given treatment if it is a UTI

I'd go see the vet, just in case. Our minpin used to "wet the bed" occasionally, but nothing was wrong with him. The vet never could figure out why a perfectly healthy dog would urinate while he was sleeping...
