I have been on my diet and taking my slim quick for two weeks now.  I have lost 4.5 lbs. (not much, but at least I didn't gain any!)  I am really doing good on the not snacking thing.  When I do snack it's usually a handful of peanuts, low fat yogurt, or popcorn.  I am still eating out at lunch...still going to Mickey D's and Andy's...only instead of eating the entire meal, I am only eating half of it.  I make it a point to leave half on my plate if it is a "bad" meal.  I keep reminding myself that I did not gain 25lbs in 2 weeks, and I will not lose 25lbs in 2 weeks.

So that's my update, how are the rest of ya'll that are dieting doing?????

Great Job!!!!  That is awesome!  THe slower you take it off the less likely you will gain it back.  Always eat three meals!!  Even if its small!!  Use a small dish .....instead of a big plate.  And always always eat in the kitchen, do not go to any other room you tend to eat more.   Eat and drink in the kitchen only!!!!  My doctor preaches that to me lol............and trust me it works....I have only 10 lbs left .............lost 35 (in 5 months).  Do not eat after 7:00 pm.  Drink plenty of water.  Good luck your doing wonderful.  Thought I would throw in some helpful hints

Thanks for the hints!  I am TRYING to eat three meals every day....breakfast is hard, I just have never been a "food before 10:00" person!  LOL!!  I do, however, LOVE cheese biscuits!  My treat every Friday morning is a cheese biscuit.  The rest of the week it's a cereal bar or yogurt.  Thankfully, my hubby is a neat freak (I swear I tell him that he's OCD), so I never eat in any room, but the kitchen.  I have gotten so that I drink much more water and have even grown to love diet cherry coke.   If I open a regular pepsi, I usually end up pouring out 3/4's of it.  This is all new territory for me.  I have always been able to eat and drink and do as I pleased and haven't gained weight.  I guess that two babies and age have finally caught up with me!! LOL!!
