I talked with Michelle regarding the girls' vet visit with Dr. Bart yesterday .  Dr. Bart said that the one little girl (the pearl girl I think is what we've called her) is about 18 months old to 2 years old, and that the other girl (the brown/lemon girl) is about 2-4 years old, and that he could not palpitate puppies in either dog, which is good news.  He wants to spay both ASAP. One is getting spayed this morning and the other is being spayed next week.  Momma Spring will be spayed after she weans her little baby.

He said Spring Momma is between 7 and 12 years old (he believes on the older side tho), and that her teeth are VERY BAD, but no infection. Spring's baby is doing well, but even so, Dr. Bart asked Michelle to start supplementing the pup just to make sure.

He said for what they've been through, they're doing remarkably well.

I've asked Michelle for more pictures - she's gotta get on the ball!!

I'm glad to hear that they are doing so well. Poor little things have been through alot. It is a good idea to supplement the pup, especially with mama having some age on her.

Can't wait to see pics

Poor Spring, so glad she (and the others) were gotten out of that place.
Are they all HW negative?

Perfect score! They are all so lucky. Poor Spring. Hopefully once the pup is weaned she can work on getting healthy herself.

Pretty good report considering where they were.  Spring looks like an old sweetie.

How big are they?  It is always so hard to tell in pictures.

Good news!  A bunch are coming down south the next 2 weekends and I'm hoping this means most of the PM dogs will be negative....don't know how prevalent it is up in NC.

Me, either... let's hope ALL the babies out of that place are negative....  especially those that were adopted from the shelter!!  Caroline's getting some this weekend, also...
