My 2 oldest kids, Justin and Christina (a senior and a sophomore)are in the High School marching band and have a band competition about 3 hours away from us in Lawrence, Kansas tomorrow. They needed chaperones and I volunteered...yikes!!! 

I really wanted to go to see the competition but didn't feel like paying the gas, and my kids even asked me to sign up as a chaperone. They said they would rather have me, then some of the "weird" parents. ( I like to think of myself as a "cool" mom!hehehe) Well, that makes me feel good that they won't feel embarrassed to have me there.

We're going up on nice Charter buses... We're leaving at 7am and will be back around midnight. What a long, fun day ahead! I can't wait!! I am just so proud to be a mother, I live for this stuff!! LOL!
