I've tried for days....different images....different sizes....from different locations on the computer. What'es up with that? My "old" avatar went away when I updated something on my profile that had nothing to do with the avatar. I feel wierd without a photo!

Wish I knew what to tell you.  My old camera pictures will not load on my avator.  Maybe one of moderators will know.

The whole Avatar thing is funky.  There's a whole thread on this in the Help and Info forum... check it out.

If the pic is too large, it won't load and sometimes tells you the max sie is 200x200.

Does the path to your avatar have any spaces or mixed-upper-lower case?  

i.e.   C:\Users\Me\My Documents\MyPic.jpg has spaces and mixed upper/lower case andI can't get a pic to lod if this is the case and I do not know why.

Just try renaming the pic 1.jpg and put it in a nw folder called C:\avatars - then try to load it.
