We didnt get Prada. It was between us and another couple apparently. Im so sad. Me and hubby had our hearts set on her. They are taking her for a 2 week trial but who wouldnt want a sweety like her? We will continue our looking. Im so bummed.

I am so sorry. I know what it's like. But please keep an eye on the rescue groups. There are so many babies out there that need a good home. And I always feel like the dog you are to spend your lifetime with often times find YOU instead of the other way around. You will get a sweet doggie to love who was meant to be with you!

Awww.. I am so, so sorry. It must have not been meant to be (not that that makes it easier, I know) BUT somewhere out there is a rattie who really, really needs you and your family - she is just waiting for you to find her when the time is right (((HUGS)))

Awwww...sorry. BUT yes altho she was (is) a cutie (the heart pillow helped) I learned EVERYTHING is "meant to be"...everything. No "accidents". The "right" little doggie will drop in your lap. Happened to me. BLAM! I was sooooo against keeping this little dog I was tempting.(fostering).let him find another family...I didn't want a little dog, and so on. He WAS "The One"...I just didn't know it. And he is my heart-dog now. You just never know. Gotta keep your heart open...

Oh yes we are not giving up. Not at all. There is a right rattie out there for us. Maybe God is waiting till we get back from Cleveland.

Not sure if you saw but there was a big puppy mill bust. That means the rescues will soon have puppies available once they are old enough (Ratbone for sure, probably New Rattitude and ResQ too, not sure). Also you might contact that shelter directly if you dont' want to wait so long as they had a LOT of young dogs under a year of various ages and sizes so there might be one right for you.
