I swear I must have marbles for brains.....
The new crate came yesterday. It's absolutely gorgeous. The poplar, handmade crate is truly very unique.
I can't use it. It's HUGE... it's the size that my german shepherds would have needed. Sad thing is... it's exactly what I ordered. This beautiful monstrosity is sitting in the middle of my den floor. I have NO WHERE to put it... and to ship it back will cost $65.00.
I guess I'll advertise it among my agility friends. Maybe someone with a large breed of dog can use it.
I swear I'm so stupid sometimes! I should have ordered one HALF this size!

Mel -- Here's the website I ordered it from. If you call them you actually get a real, live human! They are super nice and these are handmade.
It was MY fault .. not theirs... that mine is too big. They sent me what I ordered. :=(

Nora, that is a beautiful piece of furniture. Too bad you "inadvertantly" clicked on the wrong button when you were placing the order?
I wanted to give you an update on Cameo. She is turning into the sweetest, most loving dog I've ever come across. She greets everyone with enthusiasm and will gladly love on anyone. I tell people she is an equal opportunity lover - she loves everyone equally. She is so gentle and when she wants something it is so hard to say no to those eyes and face. If either Janie or I leave the house, even for a few minutes, she sits and watches the door or will sit with my Mom on the recliner footrest. I carry her out front to get the paper in the morning (not going through the harness on and off to go 20 foot round trip) and she looks forward so much to this. Even to the point of almost leaving the feeding station while the morning meal is prepared. She can hear my wallet in another room and she comes running asking to go for a ride with me. It really saddens me to have to leave her behind, but if I'm only going to do a drive-through, bank or barfy burgers, then I take her with me.

| It's a beautiful crate Nora but I do hope you can get the one you want. I use a large crate here but that is the one that everyone loves to lay in. Cameo just about fits in it now. LOL |

It's too big for the sunroom... I could easily fit 7-8 small dogs in it. It's too big for an end table. If it didn't cost so much to ship back to them... I'd do it... but I'm not going to pay $65 shipping to have it shipped back... and then pay another almost $200 for a smaller crate. To me, that would be yet another stupid mistake! haha
It's still sitting in my den floor, and last night Lil'Bit and Bailey were in it together. Although it's cute to see this... I still have no place for it. I'm telling you -- IT'S HUGE !!
