You **CAN** be a foster parent!

Every day, all of us involved in Rat Terrier rescue have to turn away darling little Rattie faces in need.  There is always a need for more fosterhomes out there.

Can you squeeze in just one little Rattie?  Of course you can!  They're so tiny!  Ha! 

For this breed we love so much, please consider if you can spare some time pampering a needy Rat Terrier.  We always need foster homes -- even if you only foster one dog, you make a huge difference. 

I'm sure you've heard the fable of the person on the beach, throwing sea stars back into the ocean.  The shore, strewn with stranded sea stars, was an endless stretch of work to do.  Another beachgoer told the fervent rescuer that there were too many and they could not all be saved.  "You'll never make a difference!  You won't make a dent in that vast collection of dying sea stars!"  The rescuer picked up a sea star, tossed it in to the waves, and said, "I made a difference to that one."
