Has anyone used these products? I was wonderfing they actually work. It would be a great alternative for dogs that can't undergo anesthesia for health reasons.

I've heard they work well, but I've never used them myself...

I've been using the gel for months. I wish I could say it's working like the website advertises but it doesn't work any better than regular doggie toothpaste for my guys.

Thanks! I did go ahead and buy some gel to try, and it was quite expensive. I brush Henry's teeth every day, but my two old dogs have horrible teeth, and both the vet and I are reluctant to put them under for cleaning. Henry's rescue group had his teeth cleaned when he was neutered, and they look great right now (trying to keep them that way). I wish I had taken better care of the other two with regard to their teeth.

Sarah,

Let us know how it works for you.  I have 6 dogs at home, and if I'm going to invest in it for 6 dogs, it better work!!

Thanks!

I have seen this product on line and was very interested to see if it really works.  The site said the it works best if you use both the gel and the spray.  Marley lets me brush his teeth, but he won't let me use any kind of spray in his mouth.

Please let us know how things work out using this product.

I will let you all know how it turns out. I took a picture of Heidi's teeth to have something to compare with in a few weeks. Cocoa (my soon-to-be 16-year-old bird dog) is going into renal failure, so I'm going to ask the vet tomorrow at our appointment whether or not it's safe for her given her weak kidneys.

I bought the retail package of Petzlife to offer for sale in my grooming shop. Several people that bought it said they haven't been any better at using it....  than they were at brushing their dogs teeth.. so don't have an customer results to share. I've been using it on my dogs for about 3 months now. I started with the gel, but they didn't like it much, so I'm now using the spray (I keep the bottle right by the bed and they don't get into bed until they have their shot of Petzlife.) Neither of my dogs have real bad tarter, mostly just on their back teeth. It's taken a while, but I can tell now that they are looking better. I does give them nice breath too.
