Can you all tell me what are a Ratties personality traits that make him or her a Rattie? My little mix tends to have her quite times with a burst of energy tossed in. She loves to burrow under the covers, she is a great climber and the gates that hold back the Chi's have nothing on her. She isn't a huge eater, either. Oh, she hasn't made one sound..not a whimper, a yelp or a bark...and her Chi buds are the yappiest little guys ever

Well...so for it DEFINITLY sounds like a rattie to me. They are high energy dogs who also LOVE to snuggle with their people. They are INCREDIBLY smart and learn quickly. They can be stubborn and silly too. My best advice for you is to go to the "you might be a rat terrier if..." section. There are stories that people have shared and compared about their ratties!! welcome and we look forward to seeing stories and pics about your new addition!

she sounds like a rattie to me too. one of my girls isn't much of an eater either...she always leaves food in her bowl, but once every maybe 2 weeks, she'll eat everything in her bowl and help finish off her sisters food too. welcome! we hope to see many more pics of your new girl!
