And is headed south now. She just left the meetup with Carol. Nala cried a small bit but has settled into sleep. Janie will be holed up somewhere around Macon this evening. She had to go by herself as the person who was going to help her had to back out at the last minute. It's been tough, but she is doing OK. More updates to follow. |

That would be "Janie" of course, stuttering I finger. She just got to the hotel and in her room. She sounds so much better not that she is off the road and having some fun with Nala. Janie is completely exhausted, but safe as is Nala. Oops, a spider in the bathtub, now a dead one. |

| Dang!!! If circumstances with my work had been better, I would have tried to meet up with Janie.(I'm about 75miles south of Macon down I-16) With work like it is, I wouldn't have been able to do it this week. Did she have to drive through Atlanta to get to Carol? That is the MOST exhausting kind of driving. I'll be headed up that way week after next for a conference at the Phillips arena. I'm not looking forward to the drive.(But I'd have done it to get my puppy without batting an eye!) |

Glad to hear they made it safely to Macon. I know Janie is exhausted. I am exhausted just from waiting! I just got back home a little bit ago myself. Cowboy and Ace made the trip with me and they cried a little also. I think they were trying to tell me that their sister was not there. They were really yelping in the beginning...LIke MOM, You forgot somebody! Tinkerbelle checked them when we got home. I can't tell if she realizes that Nala is not there, but the rest of the puppies seem to know that something is not right. Little Patches is missing her sister. I can just tell. Anyway, I'm tired. I did take pics and I promise to download them tomorrow.
I pray Janie has a better trip home tomorrow....she'll have Nala Belle to keep her company!

I met her at my Mom's old house in Stone Mountain, east of the city, so she wouldn't have to go through downtown. She did have to take 285, but luckily it was after rush hour.
