Unfortunately, as so commonly happens in our society, I am forced to make rules for the many to overcome the irresponsibility of a few.  People have taken the adoption/rescue vs breeding issue WAY TO FAR.  ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

New rule:

If someone comes to this website asking about breeding, do not mention rescue.  Period.  They're not completely brain dead, they know that the adoption option is out there.  If they want to ask about rescue, they will do so.  The rescue forum is right there for them to do so, and you can talk about rescue until you're blue in the face right there.

If you have a problem with this rule, I'm very sorry.  There is no need for discussion about this rule, as there is only one direction for that to take.  If you are going to leave this website because this rule makes you angry, then just do it and don't make a big stinking drama about it.  Personally, I have a problem with the fact that I am forced to make ANY rules.  We are all adults here and we should be able to behave like it without moderators/admins having to step in and break up meaningless and/or ignorant arguments.

Lance

Update - there is a new exception to this rule:  if you yourself are married, fertile, do not have and do not plan to ever have children, and have adopted starving or neglected adult humans from third world countries, you may post about rescue in the breeding forum.
