Except for the velcro ( will do that last to control how many of each size) I have 4 of the vests done for your fundraiser. I am making 8 so you can pick out the 6 that you think will sell the best. Here's a peek..........

The fish fabric is such a cool color but my photo yellowed it a bit. It's very nice quality as well. Actually all of these are because they are quilting grade fabrics. The fish is the smallest one. Isn't the pasta one a hoot? That is why I asked Noodles 'n Me about the size of her Noodle. Thought she might want some of this fabric for a scarf or something. Perhaps I am just too corny and noodle fabric is the last thing she would want.

I am rethinking my choice of the golf fabric because it may not appeal to many people but that one person might just go "ga ga" for it. Ratbone had a pup named Jelly Bean (he was a special needs fellow - had problem with hind legs) and I thought of him when I was sewing this one. I don't believe he has showed up on RT.com. |

| just wondering do you sew them on a serger or regular sewing machine? Those look so cool and I have a ton of fabric. I usually just make bandannas for my clients but those look so cool!!! My mom has a serger that she has had for about 15 years and has never learned how to work it maybe I should break it in for her!!! |

| I sew on a regular sewing machine - a Bernina. I had amini serger once but all I did was create a bird's nest with the threads. Reminded me of bait casting into the wind, LOL. |

They love to be by each other all the time. They really do sleep next to each other and basically stay by each others side (probably bad as we found out when Sydney was in the hospital because Sonic did not know what to do) and if I want a picture of the two together for a specific reason-- I bribe them with a carrot!

Awwww....that is so sweet. My two used to be the same way until an incident a couple years ago where Eddie's bottom jaw got caught under Daisey's collar while they were playing. It's rare to see them together anymore but they both their eyes glued on each other for sure. If one runs out the dog door or acts like there is an ax murderer in the house, they quickly become a team.

I have come to a stop in vest produciton because i need another trip to JoAnn's fabric for D rings. Here are the last four. Go ahead and let me know which 6 you want for the fundraiser and I will then add velcro to them and try to make them three different sizes. I didn't know if where you live anyone would be offended by the wine fabric - it is actually very nice, high quality and lovely colors that are a bit distorted in the photo.

You can PM me with your address and I will send some noodle fabric - it is so funny! I don't have much of the fish because it was a small piece to begin with. I have other fish, mostly colorful tropical fish on black background, but the fabric stores should have the more realistic fish fabrics like the one I used in the vest. There seems to be no shortage of fish fabric anytime I am looking for it and you can ask them to cut you a fat quarter.

Is the velcro hard to sew on?
I've broken a couple needles but it's not too bad. I kinda have it down to a science now. One time I accidentally got the adhesive back velcro and that was a disaster. The adhesive gummed up the sewing needle. I went thru 3 sewing machines needles just trying to do one vest. Eventually I scraped it because I was worried about the adhesive in the washing machine and on the pup's hair - just couldn't stand the thought.
