(I don't know if this is the right forum, moderators feel free to move it if need be)

Angel and Mia sleep in the crate every single night, there was nothing different about bedtime last night, but in the middle of the night, 2 am-ish, Angel started whining.

The first time I thought "well she must need to go out really bad" So I let them outside for a few mins and then put them right back in the crate.  No playing, no babytalk happiness, trying to let her know it wasn't playtime and she was going right back to bed.

Then she kept whining the rest of the night.  I would go in the living room to see if everything was ok.  I took her out of the crate and held her, I rubbed her tummy, she didn't feel feverish, just wanted to be clingy.  I put her in back in the crate... because she is not gonna pull this to try to get in bed with us.

This morning she was extreamly clingy, and she went potty fine and was in a playful mood, she just wouldn't leave my side.  I don't know what's going on.

Any advice?

Everything is going really good. We love our house, big yard, lots of trees. The girls are doing good since they've both been spayed. They weigh in at 8 (A) and 7(M) pounds, both of them are very tiny. I will post pics later. Don't want to come in after lurking for so long and flood the boards.

Mia is starting to pick up potty training finally. She is only peeing on the floor in front of the door now. lol. to me thats a big improvement.

Angel is the smartest girl in the whole world and will pick up new tricks after just a few tries. I'm so proud of her.

Poor girl, maybe just a tummy ache? Or something scared her? Or maybe just needs extra lovins today? Hope she starts feeling better whatever it is.

This may be of no help to you but about once every two weeks Jasmine will do the same thing and i was stumped. She doesn't sleep in a crate but in my bedroom on her pillow and usually doesnt come up in bed untill the morning when she's decided it's play time. But i was awake a few nights ago when it happened.

She went from a sound sleep to standing and barking, the hair on her back and neck was standing straight up, just like that. she then came walking over to the bed all hunched over whining at me. when i told her it was ok to get in bed she nosed her way under the covers and curled up with her head on my chest and fell asleep.

I only assumed she must have had a scary dream.

Sorry i know it doesn't offer any help but it sounded similar and thought i'd share the story. I do hope Angel starts to feel better today!
