my son has his friend over and the kid is 3xs hyper than my dogs. on top of that he was teasing my dogs with my sons plastic sword, well i put a stop to that. sent them outside to go to the park and for this kid to leave my dogs alone.  i have never met such a hyper kid in my life.

You have never met my son! If he is off his meds it is insane!!! LOL I love my boy but love him even more now that he has ADHD meds to calm him down. He has enough energy to keep Ivy tired!!!

hehehe...you don't know my nephew! he literally bounces off the walls, and to make things worse, he doesn't have a clue how to act around dogs (neither does his parents or older sister, but that's another story). yep, my dogs are far more well behaved than he'll ever be!

it's never easy when someone who is so completely clueless about animals comes over...I'd have sent that boy outside too.

Buddy - gone but never forgotten.

ADD and ADHD are tough on everyone. I had a colleague with an ADD kid who used to get furious when do-gooders would talk about taking away Ritalin. He always said that if it weren't for Ritalin, his kid wouldn't be able to go to school.

His name is Hendryx! He's a rat terrier! OK!

Well, glad you found something productive for the boy to do..... I think next time he comes over, before playing starts I'd let him know the terrorizing the dogs is off limits..... :-)
