Timmy went to his first adoption clinic yesterday and even though he is not rady for adoption yet , he had three families fill out an adoption app for him. One man that filled it out had my eyes tear up. His story is that his wife just had her leg amputated and has another week at the hospital and then a month at a rehab. center. We wants to adopt Timmy for them. (Timmy has only 3 1/2 legs) but he does not feel he can take timmy for a couple of months-- this works with us cuz he is not going to be ready for at least a month. |

| Poor deprived pups....mine would feel the same way. Sadly it isn't the cat TOYS they would want but the cat-toys (as in the cats who become toys in the eyes of the doggies). Hope they find purrfect homes soon so the torture can cease. |

Maddie and Rusty are permanent in the home (the fence has always been up but the new toys have given them the reson to want in there) and after Timmy goes to his new home we get another kitty in . they are great when the cats up the fence, they do not chase or hurt them again it is just the new toys
Here they are with Rusty, Maddie and a past foster kitty. He had long orange hair. (Benny)

Oh that last one is too cute! I'm sad to say back when we had our greyhound girl still with us our pack caught several of the neighborhood feral kitties. I always would flip on the lights a few times before letting the dogs out so the cats had some time to leave the fenced yard but they didn't always choose wisely and the greyhound was fast and tall. So I'm afraid any cat would be seen as something to hunt, although I've never had an indoor kitty. I'd be too afraid they'd get hurt. Did your house have kitties before Sonic and Sydney? Which came first (the chicken or the egg...erm, the kitties or the pups)? |

Kitties were here first. Rusty, big kitty is three years old. Sydney has grown up with him. and Sonic loves the cats

The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too
