| I can't wait!! It will be a couple of weeks and I'm about to die. I want him now! (I've never been a patient person). KS and Dixie are excited. KS is especially excited that she is getting a brother and won't have to share her clothes with him! |

He IS wearing his Tuxedo you know...maybe you could call him R.B. for Rhett Butler...but it will sound like Arby. Lightning is so precious in that picture and he looks so good next to KS and Dixie. I keep coming back to that pic and just staring at it. He does make a good fit! KS better protect those nipples, he's gonna think she's his Mama not his sister! I'll have to start teaching him about what is appropriate brotherly love. I gotta go hug him right now cuz he is so stinkin cute in that picture.

I had given up on getting one of these puppies. Over the weekend Carol posted a picture of the three boys being held together. I thought it was so cute and showed it to Randy. Something happened! He just started grinning and talking about how much he liked the dog in the middle (Lightening). I told him that they were still available and he just got this look. I knew he was rethinking it. We talked and he said he wanted to think about it. On Sunday, he said if I wanted the puppy to get him. Hahahaha, what he was really saying was that HE wanted the puppy. He always does that. He puts it on me, but I promise you -- he wants this dog or we wouldn't be getting him. Like I said, something clicked.
But, I did tell Randy I wanted him involved in naming him. He absolutely does NOT want to name him Rhett. So, we are discussing different names, going through some famous Confederate generals names, as well as some other names. He wants to wait until we get him to officially name him - you know, personality, etc. But, we have a couple of top picks. I want him to be a part of naming him as he seems to be really excited about getting the little guy! We'll just wait and see. For now, he is Lightening.
