Okay well I feel like dork but after fully realizing we are indeed going to need to fly Skippy out here and can't do a less expensive road trip I guess I could really use a little help getting the Skipmeister out here. If you'd like to donate a SMALL amount to Skippy's flight fund and you aren't too annoyed by me asking, you can use paypal to kigotai @ hotmail.com (take out spaces). I think the flight will be about $200.
Please put in your address so Skippy and I can send you a thank-you. And in addition I promise to pay this forward to another Ratty in need in the future.

I am so happy for him...he will be spoiled and he will LOVE LOVE LOVE agility (I think Pam is interested in putting him in agility)

AND Not only is PAM getting Skippy - she's also going to be fostering Spanky, the 3-legged little baby in the Long Island Shelter for RATBONE! I'm so glad this all worked out - (please don't think I haven't been taking notice, I've just had my hands full with Skip in Brooklyn and working on that mess!)

I'm the lucky one.... there are two ratties that have been available that I've wanted so badly and simply could not (cannot) have. One was little Dawson (my heart ached for him!!) and the other one is Skippy, as I believe he would make a great little agility and companion dog, and playmate for Bailey. Unfortunately, I have too many irons in the fire right now and simply cannot take on another dog. But I help when I can... and to know that Skippy is going to a home where he will be trained for flyball does nothing short of choke me up! I'm SOOOO about wanting these little dogs to have jobs to do... and I know our goals for each of our fine furry friends is different... but that's what I'm about. Those of you who know me... know it's important to me.
I talked to Pam...although I have not met her personally I feel in my heart she's a good person with wonderful intentions. Skippy will no doubt end up in a grand situation... and I'm thankful that she reached out with her heart and mind to this little dog.... who came SO close to being euthanized had it not been for some very special people... Bethany (Gwacie) in Michigan being one of them.
I wanted to help make this work with Skippy and Pam & her pack... and I'm thrilled to be able to help in this small way.
Now I can sleep better tonight. *S*
Mary -- you and Pam work out the details asap, ok? This will relieve stress in Mary's household... and maybe add a little stress to Pam's household! LOL (but it will be worth it, I'm sure).

It's getting confusing round here! Skippy is flying from VA to Arizona. SKIP is the one in New York whose owner is a, well, you know, and needs some help outta New York City.

Well, Pam, I didnt name Skippy, So I wouldnt care in the least if you changed his name, but he responds pretty well to Skippy!
oh, and PS...I will tell Skippy that hes going to live with a "special boy" with only 3 legs and Ill tell him hes not allowed to make fun! hehehe
