I've noticed that lacey has a red stomach. she didn't have this on thursday when i got her. I feed her canidae chicken and rice my vet thinks its allergies? she also will lay like a frog out in the grass and scoot across the lawn instead of walking so i thought the redness could also be from the grass? I'm going to bring her in tomorrow, but i thought i'd ask ti see if anyone else's ratties have had this or what it could be

lucy's belly gets red when she scoots on the grass. she takes pills for her allergies. we call them her itchy pills. she likes getting her pills two or three times a week because we give them to her with a forkful of cat food.

Molly's allergies seem to be worse this time of year. I think she is allergic to the grass pollen. She's licking/chewing on her paws and her tummy is red from "stalking" her sister outside in the yard. I give her benedryl when it really seems to bother her...1 mg per lb
