A NEW PUPPY!!!   I havent said anything because I didnt want to talk about it then it not happen.  He is soo super cute and I will be posting pictures as soon as Im done posting this.  We got him Wednesday night and he was born on a farm.   I thought he was 8wks old because the lady said the puppies were ready to go, but I found out he just turned 7wks today.  I would have waited because I dont think they should leave before 8wks.  But hes been great.  He whined alot at first, but now he hardly does anymore.  I forgot what a chore potty training is, but we take him out often and everyone has been great about taking turns with him.

As for Mr. no more dogs (my husband) I worked on him and it paid off.  When I told him about these puppies (a girl I work with knows the people I got him from) he showed some interest ...a little.  Then I started with, "well you are probably right, we cant fit another dog in to our lives.  One is enough."  Then he said...well, maybe we can go look at them.  I knew I had him then.  So we went and looked and I told him he got to pick the one he liked best. And name it!!!

so our new addition is named    WILLY  (for now...it changes daily)

He's actually springer spaniel. My hubby wanted a little bit bigger dog, that was the deal. So I was fine with that. I wanted another rattie, but His mother came to about my knees. The lady I got him from said that they had an appointment to get her spayed and she came into heat. The mom is pure bred springer. She said the neighbor has a male pure bred springer, but they also have a lab and she's not sure which got to her female. They had the female in the barn and she got out I guess. The other puppies had a definite spinger look to them, Im thinking willy looks like he has lab in him. Im not sure. When we got our puppy the lady I got him from said her dog has an appointment for spay on Monday!!!

I thought he looked as big as Jack in the pictures you posted, which I thought was odd... haha (now I know!)
Springer spaniels are great dogs. There's one who comes to the nursing home a lot... name is Mocha.... GREAT dog! Congratulations, Teresa!

Congratulations. We had a Springer a long time ago. They are gorgeous and playful dogs. Great personalities.

His name is Hendryx! He's a rat terrier! OK!
