To much venting that I have to do but I will start here and add more laters.......I love Tacoma Washington,,,but I hate the apt complex that we live in.....So it is all millitary (not that I have any problems with them serving our country I respect that) but they curse at there skin kids get your fing pottymouth over here and they adopt dogs and let them run free....anyways Murry and I just ran the trash out and these kids at 11 tonight jump out shooting Murry and I with b.b. guns.....its a school night why are you not in bed...my daddy says to kill... Why in the world and what so we ran home Murry is hiding under the bed..and I pulled a b.b out of my leg.....anyways vent vent vent.....I am anoyed....and still a crappy speller.....Milly |

| There parents want them to do this...hell get the kid out of the house...why don't parents care anymore...I am afraid for my son to be outwith these kids or cursing parents with there kids....scary |

I think this is the first time I have posted back a comment that actually is directed at a person but I really do not like the entire military being slammed becasue of a few.
It is not just the Military that curse at their children or adopt dogs and let them run free. I come from a military family and my son is now in the military and I was never cursed at nor were my children. We were taught respect firmly but never harshly. (in fact I can never remember a spanking- I would hear "Michelle, I am very disappointed in what you did" and you know what that made me feel bad). In fact most of the kids I grew up with were very respectful. In school we were called Army Brats but we were not called to the principal's office anymore then the other kids.
As for shooting BB at you, that is terribly wrong but it is not just military kids doing that. We just have to watch the news to see that. And dogs running free?? Also not just military.

Call the Police. Also, if those are military brats, their actions are reportable to the CO. BB guns are just as deadly as guns in the wrong hands. How old are those heathens? I'm afraid they would be in jail if they were my neighbors. |

First of all, yes what they're doing is wrong and I would certainly call the cops or the MPs.
BUT - please don't assume this is because they are military. I was married to an Army guy, enlisted, and spent 8 years in the military....military housing, off base apartments, etc. and most military were very respectful and nice! Base housing was as safe as you could get....I never felt my daughter was in danger. It just sounds like you are in a rather "bad" neighborhood.....please don't lump all military as like these people!
Heck, for one thing, if anyone in the Army had lived like that when we were in - their commander would have been notified and and situation would have been dealt with. |

Milly please do not slam our Military. Now as for the kids shooting a bb gun at you and murry that was just wrong! No matter who they are!!! My oldest brother is in the army, and his kids were raised on army bases all over the place, and let me tell you if any of them had pulled a stunt like that they would have been punished. Did you talk with the parenst of these kids? Thats what I would do. Before they really hurt someone! A bb gun can be just as dangerous as a real gun |

Call the cops/MPs if the parents are't willing to talk to you or do anything about this. BB guns are very dangerous! No matter what you deserve to be safe.
I'm a Navy brat and took no offense to what you said at all. It did't sound to me like you were lumping ALL millitary or stereo typing the millitary - just stating what it's like in your particular complex. Hope things get better for you there. There must be someone that can help in this matter. |

Milly, call the cops please. Let them intercede on this. Not all military families are like that. This is a matter that should be handled by the authorities. I don't blame you one bit for being upset.....but do call the police.

| Oh I would not hesitate in calling the authorities I have been shot with a BB gun when I was a child and it does hurt and can really hurt your little dog. Sound like you maybe in the same neighborhood my ex husband was in and you need to get out. I did not get any better for him but heck he was one of the heathens and is now doing time for it! |

Call the police. It could have killed you or Murray. If you don't report them, they will do it again. Even if they do it again after you report them, at least if they reported a second them then there will be even more serious consequences.

I am not in any way slamming the military.....just the people that live here ....I have nothing but respect for those who have fought for our country and those that still will.....I hve issues with those kids that are learning nothing but fighting and cursing cuz that is all that happens in my neck of the woods...no mom is happy and dad wants to kill...sorry but that is the way it is here....and I have talked to the parents and even shown them my nice bb gun hole in my leg....but they find that nothing is wrong with that...I am starting to feel sad for the kids whom are suffering and the parents that think abuse is okay......This is turning into a sad sad situation......Milly |
