Hi there!  Ratbones Rescue needs a home visit done for one of her doggies, Clover!  The applicants for Clover live in Pahokee, Florida.  This is approximately 40 miles West of West Palm Beach, Florida.  It is near Lake Okeechobee.  Please let me know if you can do this for me.  Clover is my own foster and I want her to go to a good home!

Thanks a bunch!

I mapquested it. It is 196 miles from me...I always check, because I am in Central, Fl, but it is always too far.

is this janie and phil area? maybe they are close?

The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too

I live about four hours away but will do it if you can't find someone else. I helped transport Clover (formerly Nadine) from Tally. She's a beauty!

That's ok. It's all off. The fellow lost his construction job, and now they have to move and the adoption is cancelled. YUK!

It's ok though. I have a belief that things happen for a reason. If things are this up and down for them, then my Clover would not have stability. I really want her in the best home possible.

Thanks for the offer Lucy's Mom! I think I may have a photo of you with Clover and a sign behind her saying Jacksonville or bust! How funny.

You would not believe what our girl has been through. We nearly lost her once. The darn heartworms were in her lungs and she began coughing up blood really bad. I had to rush her to the emergency vet. Ratbones has quite a bit of money invested in dear Clover. She is just now showing signs of a full recovery. No, I want to be sure she is going to be in good hands. These people were the nicest, dog loving people. However, Clover needs more stability and this was probably destiny.

Thanks again, but I would never expect you to come from Gainesville! That is way too far!

Must be someone else in the photo. We forgot our camera that day.
My goodness. I had no idea she was that sick. I'm so glad she's with you.
I actually live in St. Augustine but wouldn't mind driving several hours if it meant helping Clover. She's beautiful.
That's too bad about the man losing his job but I agree with you -- it was probably destiny.
Her perfect forever family will come one day. Until then, she's got her perfect foster family.

I agree, things happen for a reason sometimes and Clover needs to be in a stable home, especially after being so sick.
