What a smart, comical little dude Beacan is! Last night around 11pm we went to potty. He took off (in the yard) after a squirrel but he was a good boy and came to me when I called him. But get this - as I tugged on the leash to get him to walk toward the gate he didn't want to go. So - he stands up on his hind legs and takes both front paws and pulls down on the leash to get pressure off his neck!! What a smartie pants!
He stays loose in the house 10 hours a day with no potty accidents and no chewing of anything, etc. When treats are handed out he patiently waits his turn to be given his treat. He's a barker outside when he sees other dogs but is getting a little better about this each day.
Someone is going to get a really nice dog!!! |
