There is a lady that has a rat terrior who she is trying to give away.  She says if she does not give him away she is taking him to the shelter, (which is a kill shelter).  I just adopted a rat terrior mix the day before he was to be put down.  I cant have anymore pets! But , I dont want to see him die.  She is located in Wewahitchka Florida.. The flyer said her number was 850-827-1880

Did you just see the flyer or speak to the lady?  You can recommend she contact Ratbone Rat Terrier Rescue www.ratbonerescues.com .  Ratbone can take surrenders from owners if we have a foster home open....but we will need more information about the dog.

Can a moderator please move this thread to rescue please?

Grrrrr, I know I don't know any details on this situation, but just reading that someone is going to give away their rattie (or any dog) or give it to a kill shelter just makes my blood boil! If you weren't committed to carring for this animal, why did you get it?!?!?!

I hope that this dog is placed with Ratbones and not sent to die in a shelter. Please keep us posted. thanks!
