This is Rip playing with Maia, who is 60lbs of German Shepherd. Maia has been amazingly gentle with Rip, while he's been practicing his "I'm a big, mean dog" moves on her.

Thanks much for posting that, Ashley! My Firefox is being difficult lately. Yes, Maia loves the Rip. I find it amazing. He chews on her mercilessly and she is SO gentle with him. Our evenings are filled with doggy play, and Maia will even occasionally join Rip in running up and down the hall at top speed. Everyone pulls their feet up & out of the way while we laugh! Well, at least until he grabs the backs of her knees and holds on, anyway!

imagine that same play with a dobie and 2 ratties...my girls play the same way. It always amazes me how gentle the big dogs can be with the smaller dogs...it's wonderful to see.
