Well it is official the girls are starting their first heats. Simon is already crazy after breeding Mysty. He is now peeing on everything that he can reach when he is allowed out. It is just easier to kennel him and let the girls in the yard. Rather than checking bottoms constantly and trying to remember who is supposed to be locked up! I will be using padlocks this time so my five year old granddaughter can't help! She is just amazing! And very fast, poor ole grammie can't move as fast as she used to.

I just knew that I would not get all the fences done in time and I haven't. Thats what happens when you are distracted with house remodeling. Fence is now the highest priority as I do not want any more accidents!!!

We have Choklit as the first, today, and Berry and Ceecee to go. I expect they will come in very soon as they tend to bring each other in. (Kind of like all the girls in a family having their period on the same week. I had four daughters do that every month, it was not nice.)

Anyway I am discussing fencing with my husband and sons right now. If I get hysterical I am sure that they will be more willing to set the posts quickly. I may cry some too.

Lol! Crying does do some wonders lol, if it don't maybe you could try to bribe him with food or something...lol, that saying about the way to a man's heart is through his stomach!

Good luck with the fencing! Just remind the menfolk that they will be helping with the puppies if they don't get the fence finished soon.

It is nuts here! Berry was flirting with a visitor (dog) and then turning and biting his face when he got interested. I think that she will be starting tonight or tomorrow! I could not believe how Brazen Berry was! She isn't even in yet and she was having such a wonderful time. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

I got peed on today and yelled at Simon, he gave me the OH gee Mom I thought you were the table leg, look and went outside quickly. I suppose I could have banned visitors, but I wanted the guinea hen chicks that I was brought for my husband.

pens I must have pens!

I have 2 separate play pen yards now!!!!! I did have to cry but the boys and my girls did them tonight. Simon won't be pleased that his exercise yard is small, alot smaller than he is used to but he has a tree and a dog house for shade and the hole he has been working on, it is about 3 ft deep and straight down. My son, son-in-law, and two daughters built them for me. HURRAH!!!

I had to spank my granddaughter today for letting doggies out that I told her to leave in the kennel. Lucky me I caught her at it before anything happened. She is a stubborn little princess bug. I love her but grammie is getting older by the minute!

Simon is sad. He can run alongside the girls and bark with them but he can't touch them through the fence. He has been sitting on his side and whinning at them, but they all got tired of him and all went under the deck. Poor baby is all alone outside with nobody to play with. Maybe I will let Maggie beat him up for a while so he won't be so bored.
I LOVE MY PENS!!!
