The vet asked me this when I took Moose for his first appointment. I looked at him and said..."No, should he have a middle name?"
Well it's been three months and I have finally decided on one, Moose Jefferson Green! Murphy's presdential nod to Hancock got me thinking along those lines. I called the vet to have them update his file, and Tom was making fun of me, but when I put the receptionist on speaker, she nonchalantly said, "Jefferson, I like it. I'll update his file. Thank you and have a nice day."

Lucy's full name is Lucille Spartacus Young.
When I saw her in the pen with her littermates, they will all asleep. I said, "Who wants to come home with me?"
Lucy sat up, looking very big and strong despite being just four pounds.
I laughed at how strong she was trying to be and said, "I will call you Spartacus."
However, when I found out she was a girl, I realized she needed a new first name. So I named her after a Kenny Rogers song.
Now she has the best of both worlds -- A name that is perfect for a pretty girl (Lucy) and one that is for a strong little lady (Spartcus). |

Hmm. Middle name? We sometimes call him Murphy Burphy... because he does this wierd sigh that almost sounds like a burp, but that's more of a nickname. I guess not. Oh wait... Murphy Hancock.. almost forgot. I did forget why he is named Murphy Hancock but I am sure it was a good reason and purposful and important on multiple levels. notsomuch.

My Ratties only seem to have middle names when they are either extremely good or extremely in trouble.....Lucy is "Lucy Loo" and Bo is "Bo Cephas"---among some other names that come out, especially when they are in trouble. |

Yaz's name on her papers is Princess Yazmin Diogi so I guess technically yazmin is her middle name. But the name Yaz is for Larry's favorite Red Sox player so that's what we call her. That was the only way he would agree to a dog. If we would name it Yaz. |
