For Sassy,   but i needed to put some on me...   I have picked around 5 ticks off of me,  aaaccckkkk   One had tried to imbed itself in my hairline at the back of my head....            I can handle a lot of things on me but a tick ain't one of em......        Since Sassy is always as close to me as she can get, the ticks pick the next best source of blood and that would be me...  I had two of them on me last night in bed... I felt them crawling....       It's amazing what happens to a tick in an ashtray with a bic....lol

The woods this time of year is a tick haven...   they literally drop out of the trees on ya...

we use frontline too... but this month is my last and we are switching to a new one... i dont remember the name. it its suppoed to kill off the tick if it bites the dog and in the process "infect" the tick so it cannot jump on to us or another dog to bite... once i get it ill post about it. it may be k9 advantiz but i dont recall.

OMG,  i would've freaked!!

that reminds me the time when i was a child... and i felt a bump on my head...for a day or two, and i kept telling grandma or grandpa, there's a bump on my head... i was probably about 6 or 7 years old...   They didn't think nothing of it....  then finally i told grandpa again,...  "theres something on my head and it's a little bump".... So finally grandpa looked, and pulled it out of my head and it was crawling on his hand... and he was laughing his a** off!  I ran from him... and was hurt when he was laughing like that....  remember i was just a little girl...   and of course, i wouldn't do anything with grandpa for the rest of the night.  i didn't think anything was funny about that....   and the odd thing was... grandpa was a doctor!  that goof!

I use advantix, so far it hasn't been bad at all this year....  *knock on wood*

ticks...eeewwww!! We dont have a tick problem where we live, but when I was little and we lived in Nebraska I remember going mushroom picking and came home with ticks in my head. That was horrible. I was only 4 or 5 at the time.

I'm using frontline plus and it doesn't seem to be working as good. I was thinking about switching to advantix but I didn't know about it.
