sorry for waiting to post.  I had to work until 430.  When I dropped her off at the vet, she was dydrated again.  They gave her IV today and watched her.  They also did blood work and Xrays.  Great news-- there does not appear to be any obstruction, the surgery incision healed well.  they did check her pancretus again.  Levels are all normal.

On Saturday, while I dropped Jordan at drill and they wee home with dad, appartently they got into their doggy treats and ate many.  The vet said that Sydney probably over  indulged in the treats and caused some gastrict irritation.

She had not pooped since Monday morning but as we went out the door and stepped on to the grass by the vets she pooped the biggest poo-- I have ever seen come out of her little behind (sorry for being crude).  Anyway, she is home now and back to herself again.  No  incision for us this time just a small bill-- $578.  Just paid off her surgery last Saturday.  Oh well, I did not want to start saving money anyway.

I am so very happy by little baby is ok again.

Think she is causing me more gray hair then my skin kids have ever done.

By the way, Sonic is fin with all of this-- he has his sister back with hom again.

Egads... not fun.  But what are you going to do?  Money is over-rated.

I think maybe treats go on top of the fridge from now on, K?

Actually the treats were on the counter, and Rusty the Cat helped Sydney and Sonic by knocking them down.  Treats are now locked in the food pantry with the potatoes that Sonic likes to steal and eat.

Glad you're feeling better, Sydney. Hope you continue to improve. Next time ask Momma for a cookie.

The vet I used to work for called that "dietary indescretion".  It applied to everything from treat overindulgence to garbage indulgence. LOL  I'm so glad Sydney is feeling better now.  You know, if the treats were available, she'd do it again.  Our kids never learn. LOL

haha, we have all had the too many cookies bellie aches...but luckily we don't cost $600 in doctors bills when our tummy's hurt! I agree money is over-rated. I would much rather have a healthy baby!

Yep.  I do have a  couple healthy babies.  Thankfully sonic does not need to go to the vet all the time.

Money is overrated anyway.

Glad Sydney is okay!

She has been doing great with just water for today so the vet said I could give her small amounts of white rice and chicken broth now.

We are starting the prescription dog food tonight.  The chicken broth and rice has stayed down with no problems.
