I am thinking of installing an invisible fence.

Does anyone use one?  Any suggestions?

My mom is convinced that I can go to work and leave Egypt outside all day so she can play once we get the fence.  I don't think this is a good idea, but it's good to know that other rat owners use them

Um, no.  They are there for when you are home.  It does not guarantee they will not run through it and it does not keep any other animal out and from attacking your baby.  Please don't ever leave her out when you are not home.

Don't worry - I would NEVER leave my baby outside when I am not home

i have one but never leave my dogs (even my lab) when not home -- it does not keep other dogs out -- but they are great for letting the girls out to play when we'rw home

Invisible fence, huh.  No, but I have an invisible bridge I can sell you!  Invisible car to drive on it, too!  If you're interested, put the money in an envelope and meet me in the alley behind the pipes... (shush... special deal.  Just for you! )

Our neighbor has one, and it works real well. The only thing is that I heard that if your dog keeps running into it, he/she becomes 'immune' to the current and you need to buy a more powerful one. Not too sure how true that is, though.
