So Bill is thinking of taking Mr. Gavin fishing with him some time.  We put a lifejacket on him this morning and put him up in the boat to see how he'd do...got some pics.  The human lifejacket is too big so we'll have to get a doggie jacket but he was SUCH a good boy wearing the jacket and standing up in the boat.  So I think he may like boating once it's not so hot.

This guy adapts to anything so well, he  just wants to be with his person.  Hopefully someone will see that and give him a forever home soon.

Hah - yep I think if we were allowed to adopt fosters AND we didn't have 4 dogs already Bill would like to adopt him. But since he can't I'm really hoping some nice person will see the cool dog Gavin is and take him home !

Gavin has an adorable face. I bet he and Bill will have a great time fishing. Has their been any interest in him? I'm sure his forever folks are out there!!

Looks like Bill is taking to fostering too! Glad you two are able to do this.

I didnt realize that you could adopt your fosters...i guess it kinda makes sense i just didnt know that was a "rule"

He's 5-7 years old and 23 pounds.
Yep, there are exceptions to the adopting of fosters rule but most times you can't. One of the reasons is that if all foster parents adopted their fosters then we'd run out of foster homes because foster parents wouldn't have enough room!

Cheryl - a lady in Canada was interested in him but she wanted to do agility and one of his hind legs was a little sore for a couple of weeks. Plus (I'm told) agility dogs should be younger when starting out.

Mary Beth -- looks like this little fellow has wormed his way right into the midst of your existing pack (hubby included! LOL).
He's all dressed up and ready to go.
