Hi everyone Im still fairly new here but I wanted to share. I have been doing south beach diet (slightly modified, less grains) since Oct 22, 2007. Yesterday morning I nearly hit my half way to goal mark. .5 lbs short. My weight loss ticker now says 81 lbs lost 82 lbs to go. WOOHOO Im attempting to hit 100 lost by Oct 22, 2008.

When I started I figured it would take me 2 years before getting anywhere near my goal. I still believe that to be true as my loss has slowed recently. I feel great I cant imagine what I will feel like when I hit goal.

So it CAN be done! My husband has lost over 50 lbs also he is so great behind me every step of the way!
