| HA HA with the over the hill Mary. I just turned 44 on the 11th. I loved WKRP, funny stuff, that and Taxi but I don't think they play that one anymore. I don't watch the Animal Cop shows makes me too pissed off or too upset. Bad, bad TV, gonna have to spank it. |

| i always watch and animal cops on animal planet to Mary its hard not to get angry at the tv when theres not so nice people doing bad things to animals that would be much better off in another home |

I like watching the show, because I like watching people take these animals from horrific environments and fixing them up. I'd love to be one of the vets there that cleans up and take care of the animals. I don't know if I could ever be one of the officers that picks up the animals...I have a pretty hot temper.
Yeah, it is very sad and it makes you angry. The one thing I hate the most is when a dog pulls through and then has to be put down because it wasn't socialized and didn't pass the temperament test. But it's still good that the animal gets out of the situation.
I'll watching it now, as a matter of fact. |

I agree with Sara but I don't like the Miami one or the San Fransico ones they don't give American Pit Bull Terriers a fair shot most of the time or for that matter alot of other dogs. I like the Animal Precinct the best they even take on the agressive dogs with an open mind and try to rehabilitate them. They took on one Cane Corso who was very neglected and had become VERY aggressive and they made him better his name was Otis or something like that. I know the others can't help the laws in their area but they seem to be determined at times to paint a broad stroke on the tempers of certain dogs. And dogs aren't bad just the people who neglect them and abuse them are. I guess I am sensitive to this because I have had three pits in my life and my sister has a rottie and we have both caught alot of grief over them even when my last pit was chewing on a bone and letting my cat rub all over her. And I guess because they are judged by what others do and I am from the country and from an area where I am wrongly judged because of being from the south or maybe because I just have a spot in my heart for under dogs. Sorry for my little jump on my soap box. |
