Pardon the analogy, but I have the worst problems with this website locking my computer up tighter than two dogs.  It doesn't happen every time, but it happens frequently.  My computer flies through loading ANY other website.  Just not this one.

Anyone else have this problem?

Sorry you're having trouble Tabitha. I used to be on dialup and have finally gotten hi speed via satellite. Still not the fastest, but MUCH better than dial up. I can't give you any clues as to why your puter is locking up. I haven't had the problem and not computer literate enough to help. I'm sure someone will come to your rescue.

Sometimes it locks mine up too. I just hit the "refresh" button and it seems to unlock things.

Yeah, sometimes it doesn't load the new thread I've clicked on and I just hit refresh. I think it is the ads loading that does it sometimes.

Same here... just bang F5 to refresh or if that doesn't work, close the browser and reopen.

A network trace shows the HTTP GET go out and just waiting on the site to respond... sometimes it never does.  Anyway, it's not anything with your computer that is causing the problem.

Mitch...the whining is not going to get anywhere with Lance; offer to buy him a pitcher of Bud-Lite and a round of pool and maybe he will bring edit back for you.

Guiness would work, if there were enough of it.

Actually my favorite is Red Oak, it is an NC microbrew.

Lance, I have a 6 pack of Guiness in my fridge right now and some Coors Light too. Of course, you'd have to share them with my hubby.

I think the dogs have a mental ability to screw with the site so we pay more attention to them!
