Did you have to use the pain meds? Charlie is getting neutered as we speak and I have a few of them from when Charlie hurt his leg and I dont know if I should buy more or not.

I didn't give them to Mayfly when she was spayed....in fact I don't think they gave me any. She had some at the vet's of course. It was partly because they wanted her to slow down and be careful...if there was no pain at all she could hurt herself worse. (I'm not explaining that right.) Anyway, she did just fine and didn't seem to need any.

I didn't use any pain meds. When I picked Jerry up after his surgery, he was really woozy and just wanted to sleep. He moved very slowly and you could tell he was sore. The next day, he was back to his old self and didn't seem to be in much pain. He left his stitches alone too, so he didn't have to wear the cone.

Hmmm...Well I probably wont buy any more. I think my boyfriends sister still has some from when her dog got neutered too so I wont waaste my money! Thanks!!!

Mic got meds and they ended up making him really sick.... puky everywhere So we took him off the pills and he was fine, just laid around and acted sore... never bothered his stiches either

I didn't give Cody any pain pills when he got neutered and neither did the vet.

The vet wrote a prescription for Bob to fill if we needed to, but we didn't. Bob stayed overnight at the vet's and seemed fine when we picked him up the next morning. He was pretty tired all weekend, but didn't seem to be in any pain.

Apollo had to have meds but his were free with the neutering... No REALLY! No "hidden" cost for them.

I'm having trouble with my sentence structures today. I was telling my hubby and son about the "mini baby shower" we gave a guy at work today. They ragged on me about the "mini baby" and wanted to know how tiny it was.
